Happy New Year! I will be adding a post this week about our plans for 2016 but wanted to first say a huge thank you to everyone who signed up for our ‘Forget Your Ex’ – holiday-edition.
Most of us who have been through break-ups know how hard it can be to not be triggered during the holidays – the gathering of families, happy couples, rituals and memories can lead to high emotions. We know that having a group – I like to think of it us as a ‘tribe’ – that can support you, listen to you, understand when you share triggers and frustrations – and you have the guidance of a step-by-step process to help keep you in-check – which for many of us means staying away from social media, watching moments that we know we may be triggered by, and generally be kind to ourselves. I say ‘kind to ourselves’ because it can be really easy to have a lapse and then overly self-critical. It’s important to remember we’re human – and to forgive ourselves if we lapse.
We’ve had some amazing insights, shares and break-throughs on this intake. So I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has joined us, shared and supported one another.
In 2016 we have some new resources and programs to share with you – watch this space!
